The elan2 Liquid Nitrogen Generator with Autotransfer has the ability to produce between 4.5 L and 6 L of liquid nitrogen every 24 hours.

As the liquid nitrogen is produced from the air, it is transferred to an external 20 L dewar (storage tank). With a static evaporation rating of 0.095 L/day, the tank, once filled and sealed, will store liquid nitrogen for six months.

Sensors take note of when the tank is on the Generator, and there is a continuous production of LN2 as long as the tank is less than full. Once the external tank is full, an internal 0.75L storage dewar is full and the system goes into standby until there is a drop in liquid nitrogen levels. Mechanical and electronic interlocks prevent spills and accidental dispensing. A key lock ensures only authorized personnel can dispense the LN2 in a safe manner.
